Inclusive Employment Australia starts on 1 November 2025 and replaces the current Disability Employment Service. Inclusive Employment Australia at MTC FutureReady puts your needs first, offering greater flexibility and personalised support to activate your hidden powers. Other changes include:
Better support to find and keep a job.
More providers – like MTC FutureReady – skilled in working with people with different disabilities or from diverse backgrounds.
No more time limits – you can stay with your provider for as long as you need.
You can be on the program even if you only work a few hours a week.
You don’t need to get government payments to be in the program.
You can choose your own provider and switch providers at any time.

You may be referred to Inclusive Employment Australia if you’re living with a disability, injury, illness, or health condition that means you need extra support at work.
You can join Inclusive Employment Australia if you have:

We offer more than just standard employment services. When you join MTC’s Inclusive Employment Australia service, our wrap around and allied health services are a vital piece of the puzzle when it comes to making sure that our Participants can get ready for, find and keep meaningful employment. MTC’s Inclusive Employment Australia support services include:
A bespoke program – Employment Readiness – which covers Goal Setting, Managing Stress and Anxiety, Life Management Strategies and Workplace Expectations.
Counselling to support people with the normal challenges that come with starting a new job, and juggling life with work.
Remote services include bilingual online meetings, phone, and chat messaging to ensure equitable access.
AR/VR vocational training via Work Window.
Community pantries and free tea and coffee facilities at all sites.

Our meaningful employment services, targeted training programs and unbeatable support are all designed to bring about fresh possibilities and drive life-changing transformation. Each year we support over 22,000 people across New South Wales, Queensland, Victoria and the ACT who are vulnerable and facing barriers to employment.
What are the benefits of Inclusive Employment Australia?
- Participants will have personalised support, a job plan and services created to help them get ready for work, find a job and keep it.
- Participants can choose their own provider at any time.
- Participants can join Inclusive Employment Australia even if they only work a few hours a week.
- Providers like MTC FutureReady will take the time to get to know Participants to understand their skills and what supports they need.
- There are no time limits for how long a Participant can be supported by their Provider.
- There will be more providers with expertise in working with people with different disabilities or from different backgrounds.
- More people with disability will have opportunities to work.
- Participants do not need to receive government payments to be part of Inclusive Employment Australia.
