MTC FutureReady named Diversity Council Australia Inclusive Employer 2025-2026

MARRICKVILLE, 17 November 2025: MTC FutureReady is honoured to have our commitment to diversity and inclusion recognised, being named among Diversity Council Australia’s annual list of Inclusive Employers for the second time.

One of a kind in Australia, the 2025-2026 Inclusive Employer list acknowledges MTC FutureReady’s dedication to fostering inclusion across a wide spectrum of diversity areas. The recognition follows MTC’s participation in the Inclusive Employer Index, an in-depth employee survey conducted by Diversity Council Australia (DCA) and Diversity Atlas. The survey evaluates the current state of inclusion within our organisation and compares it to the Australian workforce and DCA member benchmarks. To be eligible for the Inclusive Employer title, organisations are required to demonstrate a deep commitment to inclusion by surpassing the National Index Benchmark across several key diversity and inclusion areas and we are immensely proud to announce that MTC not only met the benchmarks but exceeded all of them.

MTC FutureReady has more than 36 years’ experience designing inclusive services to suit the needs of the communities we serve. Our targeted training programs, meaningful employment services and unbeatable support, are all designed to bring about fresh possibilities and drive life-changing transformation.

“Genuine understanding and connection to the communities we serve comes from having a workforce that truly reflects their diversity,” MTC FutureReady Chief Executive Officer Rob Marshall said.

“As a not-for-profit education and employment services provider, MTC FutureReady supports some of the most diverse communities in Australia and many of our team members share their experiences. We are beyond proud to be recognised as an Inclusive Employer by Diversity Council Australia for the second time and we remain committed to protecting and growing the diversity and inclusiveness of our organisation and our workplaces for years to come,” Mr Marshall said.

Announcing the 2025-2026 Inclusive Employers list to mark the beginning of Inclusion at Work Week, DCA CEO Catherine Hunter commended this year’s Inclusive Employer for their commitment to fostering inclusive workplaces.

“At DCA, we know that when workplaces actively foster inclusion, employees are more engaged, innovative, and motivated. It is inspiring to see all the phenomenal work being done across Australia to build fairer, more inclusive workplaces,” Ms Hunter said.

Research by Diversity Council Australia shows that workplace inclusion has measurable benefits for organisations and the communities they serve – it creates a better work environment that boosts employee wellbeing, fuels performance and minimises risk. Plus, workers in inclusive teams are:

  • three times less likely to leave their organisation
  • more than twice as likely to work extra hard
  • four times more likely to provide excellent customer service.
