MTC FutureReady named Parramatta Eels’ first Official Community Partner
MARRICKVILLE, 9 MARCH 2026: MTC FutureReady is pumped to team up with The Parramatta Eels in 2026 as their inaugural Official Community Partner.
As a not-for-profit organisation which serves communities throughout Western Sydney, MTC FutureReady is honoured to be working alongside one of the regions most trusted and visible community institutions.
Through this partnership, MTC FutureReady and Parramatta Eels will co-design programs for the Western Sydney and Eels community, allowing people to access education and employment support that fits real life.
MTC FutureReady CEO Rob Marshall said MTC’s purpose was helping people find theirs and partnering with the Parramatta Eels will help the organisation grow its impact.
“MTC FutureReady was founded on serving communities 37 years ago and that commitment continues to drive our organisation. That’s why joining the Parramatta Eels as Official Community Partner is such a strong fit. Together, we’ll create meaningful impact across the communities we both serve. Game on,” Mr Marshall said.
“We believe that education and employment are key drivers of social inclusion and personal empowerment. By giving people easier access to our targeted training programs, meaningful employment services and unbeatable support, we are helping to build stronger, more resilient communities,” he said.
Parramatta Eels CEO Jim Sarantinos welcomed MTC FutureReady to the Eels family.
“We are proud to welcome MTC FutureReady as our first Official Community Partner. The Eels have always been more than a football club; we are part of the fabric of Western Sydney. MTC FutureReady share our commitment to empowering people and strengthening communities, and together we have a genuine opportunity to create lasting impact where it matters most,” Mr Sarantinos said.
Participants in MTC’s programs also welcomed the new signing. Sepiuta Haumono-Schaaf who launched her business Tongan Kingdom Academy through Self-Employment Assistance, said she was keen to see what would flow from the partnership.
“I’ve benefitted from the supportive community that MTC FutureReady creates, and I love being part of the Parramatta Eels fan community, so I’m keen to see what these two organisations can do when they join forces,” Ms Haumono-Schaaf said.
Details of co-designed education and employment programs and how to sign up will be shared as the 2026 NRL season gets underway.
MTC FutureReady will also feature as the Official Gameday Partner for the Eels’ Round 5 Easter Monday clash against the Wests Tigers – one of the biggest fixtures on the NRL calendar. The match provides an exciting platform to celebrate the partnership and engage with thousands of fans from across Western Sydney.
