At MTC FutureReady we’re all about supporting people to break down barriers and find their purpose. That’s why partnering with the Bulldogs inaugural National Rugby League Women’s Team was an obvious choice for us. These professional women rugby league players have overcome the odds to follow their dreams and play in the national competition. We are also proud to be aligned with The Canterbury Bankstown Bulldogs, a team with a rich heritage and a strong commitment to the Canterbury Bankstown community. MTC FutureReady is excited to be walking alongside the Bulldogs NRLW as the Exclusive Jobs and Skills Partner as they debut in 2025.

Refugee Camp in My Neighbourhood

MTC FutureReady has proudly sponsored Refugee Camp in My Neighbourhood for the past two years. MTC’s sponsorship supports the employment and training of a Tour Guide from a refugee background – helping them gain confidence, develop skills and local networks, and, for some, access their first job in Australia. Our ongoing commitment and sponsorship of refugee tour guides allows them to share their experiences as part of the interactive tour, simulating the challenges refugees face on their difficult journey to a better life. Our sponsorship also allows the guides to practice their communication skills with the tour participants, which is critical as they establish their path to meaningful employment in Australia. We understand the challenges many disadvantaged communities and cohorts face, including refugees, and we are dedicated to supporting their success.

The CBCC, through Chief Executive Officer Wally Mehanna provides the business sector in the Canterbury Bankstown region with a common voice, advancing their interests and supporting community sectors. The Chamber works to improve the economic and social prosperity of the Canterbury Bankstown LGA.
